These mustangs were photographed in Montana's Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range. Here is a very primitive breed of wild horse that is closely related to early Spanish horses. In this photograph, the evening sun broke through after a spring storm, lighting up the foreground. I love to photograph when a storm is clearing.
