It was a stormy evening, and the clouds were putting on a great show while I was driving near White Sulphur Springs, Montana. However, they were doing highway construction and I wasn't able to stop to photograph. Finally, as the clouds were begining to change color, I emerged from the construction zone and pulled over onto the first road I saw. I noticed how the sky was reflecting in the water that had collected in the tire tracks and thought that this would make an interesting foreground for the photograph.
