Earlier on this day, I counted 50 bull Elk in view from this spot. The elk were accepting of my presence but they wouldn't do anything that was exceptionally interesting. After all, its winter and they are into eating and conserving energy. However, as you can see from the depth of the snow, it was a mild winter. One evening, at twilight these two bulls engaged in a friendly game of king of the hill.
